Manifesto
Why Real Connection Network exists
RCN exists because social networks should help people build healthy communities and real relationships, not keep them in endless scrolling, or pull them into conflict and heightened emotions.
Core principles
Real life should stay more important than time spent in the feed.
It should be easier to build communities than an audience held together by virality or heightened emotions.
Product decisions should not depend on ad-driven manipulation.
Healthy boundaries around online time, respect, and practical usefulness should be visible in the design.
What RCN rejects
The project is intentionally not built around addictive mechanics, manufactured emotions, chasing likes, or advertising systems based on profiling people.
What RCN is trying to build instead
A calmer network for local communities, real-world events, respectful communication, and mutual help, where technology serves human relationships.
